Suitably titled Canvas of My Life, this stunning short film that tells the story of actor Jason Momoa’s life is a truly moving work of art. In the almost nine-minute-long production, Momoa narrates his tale. From his humble beginnings, his mother, his time as a young wayfarer looking for purpose in life, and to stumbling across acting and meeting the love of his life, actress Lisa Bonet.
Art, music, the road, the wild, this film reveals to us a side of Jason Momoa away from the big lights of Hollywood. And above all, Momoa spoke so passionately about his family in this one, his children most especially, who he lovingly called Zozo-bear, Lola-bear, and The Wolf.
The film, which was produced as part of the campaign of American retail brand Carharrt, originally came out back in December 2016—but only recently has been making the rounds on the internet. Well no matter, this one’s pretty timeless. We promise, it’s worth the watch.
