WATCH- James Corden Performs Beauty and the Beast with Cast at a Ped Xing

The live action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast joins a long list of adaptations of the 1740 novel by French novelist Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve. The new one starring Emma Watson as Belle is barely a week old in cinemas, and there’s already a fresh take on this tale that’s as old as time: this version stars Luke Evans, Dan Stevens, and Josh Gad… with the addition of James Corden as Belle.

The three male stars of the movie version visited The Late Late Show with James Corden to perform a low-budget version of the film… on a pedestrian crossing right outside the studio.

It’s wild, it’s funny, and it’s actually pretty good! Watch it below:

In the clip, Corden is seen training Evans, Stevens, and Gad before the performance. They then wear low-budget costumes and perform “Belle,” “Gaston,” “Be Our Guest,” and the theme song on a pedestrian crossing every time the traffic light goes red.

Since Beauty and the Beast opened this week, the film has grossed $350 million around the world.
