The Voice stage has been seeing a lot of memorable performances lately. The season started with a high note (quite literally!) with this explosive performance by The Voice coaches—the originals Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, and the new bloods Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus. The coaches took on Aerosmith’s Dream On, and it was a hair-raising performance that’s not to be missed. You can watch it here.
And now a legend took over the stage at The Voice, teaming up with younger talents, Cyrus and Pentatonix. Dolly Parton, an icon in country music, brought alive her classic hit “Jolene” but this time in acapella with the help of Pentatonix. Miley Cyrus, on the other hand, and who also joined the performance, is Dolly Parton’s goddaughter and is no stranger to creating Dolly Parton covers, most of which can be found online. Dolly Parton is good friends with Miley Cyrus’ father, Billy Ray Cyrus, who is also a big name in the country music.
And when you put together such talented artists in one stage, expect something amazing to come off it; something like this. Watch:
