Fans, the long wait is over. The first official trailer for Ghost in the Shell is finally here, and it is every bit of exciting as we’d hoped. Ghost in the Shell is based on the Japanese manga of the same name by Masamune Shirow. There was a bit of issue surrounding the making of the film in the beginning as fans said that the casting of Scarlett Johansson, who is starring in the movie, is white-washing. The anime’s protagonist is a Japanese girl.

Looking past the issue on the casting, though, it is no question that Scarlett Johansson will do a fantastic job playing the lead role.
