WAIT. If you haven’t seen Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 5, don’t read on. Unless you could care less about spoilers then, sure, go ahead.
“We’d like to apologize for Sunday’s episode,” D.B. Weiss, one of the show’s Executive Producers start off. But hold on…it’s not for what you think. “Not for killing Hodor–we kill a lot of main characters,” David Benioff continues. “We’ve killed 739 main characters so far. We’re sorry for all the idiots who, from now on, will be shouting ‘Hodor’ every time you go through a door.”
The two execs did the stint for late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live and in true comedic fashion, sat on a couch just overflowing with $$$. Watch the funny “apology” video here:
“We forgot how annoying people can be. That’s, our bad.”
But to be honest, after that heart-breaking episode, I think this will be all that’s going to happen when somebody asks you to “hold the door”:
