WATCH: Game of Thrones Actors Express their Feelings Towards that Union in the Season 7 Finale

WARNING: Spoilers ahead for Game of Thrones Season 7.

Emilia Clarke gagged, and so did Kit Harington—the two actors who play Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow, respectively, on Game of Thrones.

In the season seven finale of the hit HBO show, the two main characters finally consumated their love for each other, which, should be a reason for celebration ‘cos they are both literally the best-intentioned people on the damn show, but wait. Because it’s Game of Thrones, here’s a plot twist for yah, it turns out Dany and Jon are actually aunt and nephew.

Fans have conflicting feelings about it, but it seems the actors in the show do, too. Watch the HBO interviews below with Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Isaac Hempstead-Wright, and Peter Dinklage.

Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister on GOT, might have also just explained his character’s somber reaction at the end of the season finale (which has got everyone questioning his character’s true intention): “It’s Game of Thrones. It’s a long history of romance not ending well on this show.”

Well, there you have it. Let’s not keep our hopes up for #Jonerys. This is Game of Thrones, after all, and “the great games is terrifying.”
