No more Major Pain.
Longtime basketball player Eric Menk has officially retired from the PBA. He blogged about his retirement a few days ago, giving his thanks to the players and people who made his basketball career in the Philippines memorable.
On Sunday, Alaska, the team Menk last played for, gave him a special tribute during the halftime of the Aces’ game against Barangay Ginebra, where Major Pain spent most of his PBA career.

Some of his fellow players and his former coach also honored Menk through posts on social media:
Was an honor playing alongside a PBA legend like @EMenk30 on the international stage. Thank you for being a great example of professionalism

While people will look back on how tough and 100% he was every game, everyone ought to know @EMenk30 also had incomparable basketball IQ.
