WATCH: Ed Sheeran’s Cover of ‘Shape of You’ with Classroom Instruments

We loved Ed Sheeran’s video of ‘Shape of You’ and ever since the single was released, we’ve been singing it in the shower almost everyday. Well, we’ve got a new cover of it that we absolutely love. While Ed is still the one singing it, he is joined by Jimmy Fallon and The Roots during an episode of ‘The Tonight Show’ and, of course, they use classroom instruments to do the cover! Some of the instruments that they use include plastic xylophones, a ukulele, a kazoo, a tambourine, a banana-shaped shaker and even wooden blocks!

Other artists have done the same on ‘The Tonight Show’, including Adele, Carly Rae Jepsen and Mariah Carey; but this one is one of my personal favorites because, well, just look at the joy on Ed’s face as he does the cover. See the full video here:

‘Shape of You’ will be on Ed’s next album called ‘Divide’. It debuted on the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 and has been on top for the past month.

What do you think of this cover? 🙂
