Remember those beautiful days of childhood when a box of crayons would be enough to brighten your day? Or when sharing a pile of crayons would gain you a best friend?
Crayons gave us all colorful childhoods. But sadly we’re all going to have to say goodbye to a piece of it.

Crayola just announced that one of the colors from their 24-pack, Dandelion, will be ‘retiring’. They announced Dandelion’s retirement through a video.
Check it out below:
In the video, Dandelion, or Dan D, is shown to be quite an adventurer. And this is why Dan D will be saying goodbye to the 24-pack Crayola box.
And honestly, we’re not sure how we feel about this. Look at some reactions below:

How will I ever again make a sun in the sky? A lightening bolt from above? A shiny star atop a Christmas tree? #crayola #DANDELION pic.twitter.com/L1ti6KVriQ

I can still remember the days I’d look at the Dandelion crayon and getting really amused that there was such a color. And now it’s saying goodbye.
Crayola also announced that another color would be replacing it–one from the blue family. And you can help name it!
Thank you for the colorful times, Dandelion. Enjoy retirement!
