Batanes is the northernmost province of the Philippines. It is also the smallest province of the country both in population and in land. It is an archipelago province who capital, Basco, is located in one of its islands, Batan.
Batanes is a dream destination to most, if not all, travelers. I haven’t been there but will soon be (YAY!) but I think it offers a kind of serenity and oneness with nature, an escape from the crowded city life.

Batanes has always been a part of my bucketlist and i can’t believe that i just ticked it off. I’ve been around the Philippines and without any doubt, Batanes tops my list. There’s just so much life to see and sweeping landscape views to appreciate.
