WATCH: The Beauty Hidden in Matnog

Situated at the southernmost tip of Luzon, Matnog is a quiet and peaceful town, a place where a man named Darwin Lleno grew up. Darwin shares that Matnog’s compelling beauty urges him to go back again and again. Apparently, Matnog offers a bunch of secluded beaches, particularly Subic (dako&saday), Tikling island, and various unexplored hilltops.

These are just some of the beautiful places hidden in Matnog, though. Social media proves to be a great tool in promoting these local spots as people look through the photos and watch the videos and immerse themselves into places as if they were actually there. A local’s genuine smile and its contagious joy and laughter in a video alone can surely leave you speechless. It also presents Darwin with an opportunity to promote his hometown by filming this kind of content, though, as well as an invitation to travelers to dicover this overlooked travel destination.
