Gloria, played by Anne Hathaway, just lost her boyfriend and job in New York. She moves back to her hometown to try to get her life back together. Meanwhile, though, on the other side of the world, a kaiju or “strange beast” in Japanese (think Godzilla!), is attacking Seoul, Korea. And, oddly enough, Gloria discovers they are somehow connected.

Alongside Anne Hathaway, Colossal also stars Beauty and the Beast’s Dan Stevens and Jason Sudekis. It is set to come out in theaters on April 2017.
