We’ve all seen the videos of Erwan Heussaff sexily pronouncing French words (we still love Ruffa Mae Quinto’s version!) and Nico Bolzico pronouncing Spanish words. Now, Anne Curtis is joining in on the fun by translating words to beki-speak.

In the video, she translates words like “hungry,” “sleepy,” “boyfriend,” and “beautiful.” And just when we thought it was all over, her boyfriend Heussaff slides into the picture, daring her to use all the words in a sentence. And yes, Curtis delivers.
The official term for beki-speak is Swardspeak, a term coined by columnist and film critic Nestor Torre in the 1970s. Swardspeak uses elements from the English and Filipino language (sometimes even Japanese and Spanish), and even celebrities’ names, to come up with new terms. For example, the term “kapatid” is turned into “shupatid,” and “Alanis Morrissette” is turned to “Julanis Morissette” to refer to ulan or rain.
