Want to see Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao? You can do so by taking one boat ride!

2GO Travel

We usually have one destination in mind when we decide to travel. Sometimes we make a tour of several cities or countries, but booking all the flights, transfers, and other details can be a pain. What if we told you that you can see Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao by taking one boat ride? Yes, it’s possible with 2GO Travel!

2GO is known for their delivery and cargo services but what many do not know is that they have a travel business, too. 2GO Travel offers boat rides to many ports all over the country, and they even have hotel accommodations and services, as well as tours and events packages.

If you book a trip to Davao, you get to make stopovers in three cities. Which means you get to visit four places with just one ticket!

Here are the places you get to visit when you ride with 2GO Travel:

Iloilo (3.5 hours port time)

La Paz Batchoy

There’s plenty of history to see in Iloilo. The place is home to several churches, including the UNESCO World Heritage Site Miagao Church, the Jaro Cathedral, the San Joaquin Parish Church, and Molo Church. You can also step back in time at Calle Real, a street filled with heritage buildings dating back to the 1800s. If you choose to go here, make sure to check out the signs saying when the buildings were built! If you just want to relax, head on over to the Iloilo River Esplanade or grab a bowl of La Paz Batchoy at the La Paz Public Market, where it was invented.

Zamboanga (4 hours port time)

Zamboanga has a lot of beaches and falls, but there are also great activities to do if you only have limited time. Visit Fort Pilar, a 17th-century fort built by the Spaniards. There’s also Pasonanca Park, which has the Zamboanga Tree House and the Jardin de Maria Clara’s aviary. Make sure to stop by the Yakan Weaving Village and purchase the products being sold there. Some of the items featuring the iconic textile are scarves, purses, and wallets.

General Santos (4 hours port time)

Gen Santos city 5

GenSan is known for their tuna and we advise you to eat as much of it as you can in Tiongson Arcade! If you arrive in the morning, you can go to the fish port to check out the city’s famous tuna. There are other famous dishes to try in GenSan apart from fish, though. Try the special beef broth at Aweng’s Balbacuahan and the crispy chicken skin at Chicken Hauz.

Davao

Davao is the last stop of the trip so you can stay as long as you want. You’re lucky because there’s so much to do once you’re here. If you like nature, we suggest you go to Crocodile Park, the Philippine Eagle Center, the D’Bone Collector Museum, and Panas Falls. If you’re up for a hike, you can check out Mt. Apo, the highest peak in the Philippines. Since we like food, we also recommend the Roxas Avenue Night Market for unique and affordable treats like charcoal- and durian-flavored mochi balls and the Malagos Chocolate Museum for a sweet treat.

Experience all these when you ride with 2GO Travel! Apart from a fun and exciting trip to four cities, you can enjoy great accommodations at their boat. All the vessels come with a restaurant, a bar, a convenience store, a spa, a salon, and a karaoke. And you can choose from different types of rooms, from Super Value bunk beds to comfortable Suites.

So if you’re thinking of going somewhere soon, ride a boat and consider going to four cities instead of one!
