Vocal Firepower at Craft Pub and Grill for Rockeoke Wednesdays

 

When in Manila, I made sure not to miss Vocal Firepower—a karaoke event contest hosted by ETC, Jack TV, DIVA Universal, and Second Avenue to promote American Idol, Glee, and the new hit musical drama series, Smash (starring Katharine McPhee, Debra Messing and Jack Davenport). Solar Entertainment even gave away awesome gift packs and prizes to those brave souls who participated, including McDonald’s gift certificates, Skin White products, and cash. At the end of the night, an all-expense-paid trip to Cebu for two was given away to one lucky performer—who happened to be my friend! (What a lucky girl!)

 

 

The event took place in Craft Pub and Grill last March 28, where even I was coerced into singing on stage. Thankfully, the crowd was nice enough to cheer despite my nerves and lack of talent in the vocals area. I even got lucky and won P2,000 for singing Katy Perry’s  Fireworks.
