URGENT: Lend A Hand To These Paws In Need!

Remember when you said you’ll start adopting pets rather than buying in shops?

Well, it’s time to put that resolution into action. According to a Facebook post written by Robie de Guia, a volunteer from Saint Roche’s Haven of Love, about 19 dogs are scheduled to be put to sleep tomorrow by a city pound. These animals were originally under the care of Ate Francia, an MMDA street sweeper. She rescued and fed these dogs over the course of nine years. Unfortunately, the city pound has to get the dogs since they are living under the Santolan flyover.

Out of these pets, eleven will be adopted through the efforts of Saint Roche’s Haven of Love and one of its board members, Joey Mead King. However, they would still need donations and sponsors for dog food, medicines, and vitamins for the dogs.

Moreover, the remaining eight dogs still need loving people who can adopt or at least foster them. Good thing, Ate Francia and the team was able to ask for a short extension until the end of the month. If anyone wants to adopt, foster or help in any way, you may contact Ate Francia at 09083347897.

Let’s lend a hand to these paws in need.
