University of the Philippines Diliman Junior Finance Association has the mission of fostering educational advancement in the field of finance. In line with its vision to spread financial literacy throughout the country, this April, UPJFA brings you for the first time — UP JFA Investment Month: Leading Nation-building through Finance. It is a month long event with a series of activities and talks, open to 25,000 students, and geared towards nation-building and developing leadership in the youth. It is composed of four major events: Gallery held from March 29 to April 1 at the UP Diliman College of Business Administration 3rd Floor, which is the official launch featuring the mission and true meaning of Investment Month, as well as the history of UPJFA. The Amazing Race, a day filled with games and activities that tests both financial and physical prowess exclusive to UPJFA members. The Leader’s Financial Summit held on April 23-24, which is the main and flagship event of Investment Month. Finally, Culmination Night, which marks the end of the whole event.
With this, for those who are interested in advancing their financial careers and developing their student leadership, UPJFA would like to invite you again to the Leader’s Finance Summit. Learn Personal Finance, How to Be A Master Trader, Investing 101 from the most influential financial professionals, and Mr. Roel Refran (COO Philippine Stock Exchange), Mr. Lawrence Lee (VP for Citisecurities, Inc.), and Mr. Edmund Lee (President of Caylum Trading Institutes), and others. This event is open to all students all over the country. It will be held on April 23, 2016 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at SMX Convention Center, SM Aura Premier. Tickets are priced at P250 per head.
