From February 13-18, the UP Astronomical Society will be celebrating National Astronomy Week 2017, a series of all-day events that will take place at the National Institute of Physics, UP Diliman. The activities, which are targeted at students from grades 7-12 and High School teachers, are designed to deepen the participants’ knowledge of and enthusiasm for astronomy. Through the celebration of NAW, UP Astrosoc seeks to show how astronomy can be integral to the development of the Filipino people.
