Department of Tourism (DOT) officials took the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) delegates on a tour of luxury resort Balesin Island Club in Quezon province on Thursday.
Apparently, DOT officials decided to bring the UNWTO delegates there due to the resort’s sustainable tourism. It has its own reservoir which can supply the place with water for six to eight months, as well as its own seafood farms and fruit plantation.

A luxury destination, Balesin is a popular location for celebrity events, vacations, and weddings.
