Kapitolyo is known as one of Metro Manila’s go-to food streets. From cafes, restaurants, to food parks, it offers a wide variety of food options. One of those that stand out from the pool of food havens in Kapitolyo is Main Street, a cozy restaurant that specializes in Canadian-American cuisine. But, this year, Main Street Kapitolyo is going beyond that and has prepared a new set of flavors for us to enjoy!

Brace yourselves (in other words, kapit-ol-you can ) because new choices of pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, and desserts are invading Kapitolyo! Part of their new menu are four pizza options served in six slices, and that’s all the six pack I need in my life!
Steak and Gorgonzola (PHP350)
You read it right! That’s steak on pizza; two of the crowd’s favorites in one dish! What could be more awesome than that? Chewing the steak wasn’t a struggle because it was just so tender and the balsamic reduction drizzle sealed the deal.
Seafood Lovers (PHP 360)
This dish from under the sea would make you drool from what you’re seeing because it epitomizes beauty both inside and out! The flavorful blend of mussels, prawns, and fish together with tomato basil sauce and cheese makes this seafood pizza one of the best of its kind that I’ve tasted!
Bacon and Rosemary (PHP280)
A lot of people are going crazy about perfect combinations, but the game is over because we already have a winner! The smoky and perfectly seasoned bacon coupled with the rosemary’s strong taste, topped with the sweet kiss of the honey garlic drizzle taste like heaven. I still haven’t moved on from the burst of flavors I savored and I just remember feeling all kilig for every bite I made (yes, pizza can make you feel kilig!!!). I guess it’s obvious now that this is my personal favorite. The chopped applewood smoked bacon is made in-house by the owner and chef, Adam Tan.
The Italian (PHP290)
If you’re looking for a more classic taste of pizza, The Italian is the way to go. What sets it apart from other pizzas is the tang of the Italian sausage that matches the flavors of the tomato basil sauce and mozzarella cheese.
Miso Glazed Salmon (PHP390)
This flavorful salmon cooked to perfection just makes it impossible to say no to the rice!
Italian Sausage Penne (PHP290)
If you fell in love with the Italian pizza on first sight, you’ll definitely fall for this too! It has the same flavorful Italian sausage, and fun fact: the baguette served with this dish is also homemade!
Spicy Chicken Sandwich (PHP260)
If you’re a spicy food lover then you have found your match! Chomp on this huge chunk of buttermilk fried chicken fillet coated in buffalo sauce in between homemade buns that’s just delightfully hot and spicy!
The Paseo (PHP270)
In all honesty, I have never tasted a pulled pork sandwich as generously served as this. Inspired by a famous Seattle double-decker, this sandwich in homemade baguette overflows with pulled pork and caramelized onions in quantity and quality! This is one of the many confirmations that we are indeed #blessed.
Apple Crumble      Â
To seal the meal, Main Street serves Apple Crumble as part of its list of desserts. Once the warmth of the roasted apples meets the chilly vanilla ice cream, your tongue, tummy, and sweet tooth will thank you for sure!
