It’s true! Uniqlo, Japan’s number 1 fashion brand has finally reached Philippines shores! Uniqlo Manila is here to bring Filipinos practical and sensible clothing with that unmistakable Japanese precision and quality. Uniqlo is known for offering basic and wearable pieces at very affordable prices, thus creating fashion that is truly “made for all.” Having officially opened today, Uniqlo Manila will be selling many of their items at a super special introductory price. This offer will last until June 21, 2012, so better head on down SM Mall of Asia as soon as you can! (Photos by Hannah Adriano)
The stage is set.
Uniqlo is made for all.
Three days before the grand opening of the Uniqlo Manila flagship store at the SM Mall of Asia, Uniqlo Manila held a pre-launch party at the SM MOA Atrium. Guests came in their fanciest to welcome the Japanese brand, and in attendance were CEO of Fast Retailing’s Tadashi Yanai and Ms. Teresita Sy-Coson, vice chairperson of SM Investments Corp. Uniqlo Manila brand ambassadors Iza Calzado, Chris Tiu and Chito Miranda took part in the traditional sake barrel opening ritual and toast ceremony, while Parokya ni Edgar livened up the mood with their performance. People surely were turning Japanese that night!

The massive Uniqlo Manila store offers something for everyone, from an assortment of graphic design tees and statement shirts, to basic v-necks, and buttery soft stretch denim jeans. Cutesy t-shirt designs by Hello Kitty, Barbie and Laura Ashley are also available for little girls. Uniqlo’s most popular item, their dry pique polo shirts, will also be available at a discounted price from June 15-21, 2012. More basics like tank tops and scarves in lovely pastel hues, knickers, socks in every color of the rainbow, comfy elastic-waistband pants, and their famous bratop (bra + tank top) were also spotted.
