Uh-oh! Manny Pacquiao banned from The Grove Shopping Center

Even though the anti-gay issue has died down, Manny Pacquiao’s anti-gay comment last month still haunts him.

According to reports, the 8-divison champ was again banned from entering LA’s The Grove — A High-end shopping mall in California.

Reports say that Pacquiao and his group went to the shopping mall to catch a film during the champ’s break. Grove owner Rick Caruso later announced that the champ is banned from the shopping center.

“Manny Pacquiao is no longer welcome,” Caruso reportedly told celebrity news site TMZ.

This isn’t the first time the shopping mall turned down the champ: in 2012, Pacquiao was also banned from the shopping mall for a comment against the LGBT community, but was later reinstated after it was clarified that Pacquiao was misquoted.

“A lot of people from the gay community come to The Grove and they have a right not to feel uncomfortable,” Caruso added.

Pacquiao arrived in LA this week to continue his training for his April 9 bout against Timothy Bradley.

Pacquiao’s comment against the LGBT community drew a lot of flak, causing brands like Nike to cut ties with the champ.
