Two Theme Parks in Pasay Welcome Filipino Students to Learn More about Arts, Science and Technology

Teaching our children in this web-centric world could be challenging. Every minute, every day, an app gets updated and we must be able to catch on. Otherwise, we won’t be able to fit in this digital world.

Interestingly, there are places that help us become more productive and appreciate the wonders of arts and science and technology like the two theme parks that recently opened in Pasay City, Manila.

Manila Standard reports that there were two newly-opened educational theme parks in Pasay City, Manila. These parks were specially designed to explicate the K-12 program.

With the support of Elitech Corp. and theme park developer Creative Science Exhibit Inc., opened Elite Techno Park and Raya Theme Park in the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex, Manila Standard confirmed.

According to the article, the Elite Techno Park is the country’s first technological theme park that features the techno-vocational of the K to 12 system.

Furthermore, the said park has the following hands-on activities:

  • semiconductor and electronics
  • mechanic and automotive
  • air-conditioning and refrigeration
  • information technology
  • robotics
  • renewable energy
  • climatic conditions
  • disaster awareness and preparedness.

The company has also concluded that students will appreciate the tech-vocational course, which will help them equip their knowledge for their future career aspirations.

Ultimately, the vice president and general manager Rina Fernandez told Manila Standard that the park went through a “very rigorous process of conceptualization, physical planning and construction that took two years.”

With heaps of possibilities and drastic changes we face everyday, visiting these educational theme parks may come in handy.
