As we recognize the power of social media to bring about positive change and with the May 2013 elections just around the corner, Bedans and students from the Metro South are invited to participate in “Tweet Up @ San Beda College Alabang”, featuring a series of talks on Online Journalism, The Role of Social Media in Nation Building, Multimedia Journalism, and #PHvote. It will be held on January 22, 2013 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Fr. Roberto de Jesus Auditorium in St. Maur Hall.
Together with social news network Rappler, Tweet Up @ San Beda College Alabang is organized by Beda.Comm and Likhang Sining and is sponsored by the Student Executive Council and The Bedan Herald.
