Travel time from Cabanatuan to Tarlac will soon be reduced to only 20 mins

Soon, the travel time from Cabanatuan City to Tarlac City will be diminished to only just 20 minutes.

According to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), when the Phase 1 of the Central Luzon Link Expressway (CCLEX) is opened in December 2020, the travel time that used be about 70 minutes will be 50 minutes less via the new expressway.

As of the moment, Phase 1 of the project is 82% complete, according to the DPWH.

CCLEX is a four-lane expressway that covers a 30-km stretch that connects the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) and the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX). Additionally, since it will end in Daang Maharlika in Barangay Caalibangbangan, Cabanatuan City, it aims to ease traffic along Daang Maharlika Highway at about 50%. This can help the movement of goods in Eastern Luzon faster too.
