Planning on a getting a dose of Vitamin Sea soon but Boracay is out of the options?
Don’t worry because there is a powdery white sand beach that is cheaper and nearer in Manila than Boracay.
Calatagan is a municipality in Batangas that has many white sand beaches, which are popular vacation and leisure sites.
Monica Sunga shared with WhenInManila.com their recent trip to Calatagan.
Calatagan offers a place wherein you can enjoy the powdery white sand and crystal clear water.
Together with her boyfriend, they visited this beach last April since it was a holiday (Holy week).
They were searching online about nearby beaches and saw this. She said, “it’s a 6-hour drive from Manila, but upon arriving in the destination, the long travel is worth it.”
She added:
It’s our first time to try kayak-ing and it was fun! At that time, there were only few people in the resort, so we really owned the whole place. As you can see in the pictures, the place is good for those who want to enjoy the calmness of the sea and the company of friends, plus the beauty of the beach! So what are you waiting for? Travel to a place unknown to you, meet new people and create memories!
