Toxic: Blackout | the Ultimate Sem-ender Escape

FORWIMEDIT

Countless coffee refills, successive all-nighters, guiltless cramming sessions, and all the “onting push na lang” remarks… no doubt that this year has been one, literally, for the books! With all the draining academic stress this semester has cruelly brought upon us, who wouldn’t want to treat themselves to a night of unwinding and just pure acads-free fun?! Well, guess what? We’ve got your back!

The UP Biological Sciences Society presents TOXIC: BLACKOUT – the Ultimate Sem-ender Escape!

Toxic is UP BSS’s annual social event, aiming to promote camaraderie among the students of UP Manila. It serves as a fitting end to every semester’s omnipresent toxicity, with games, food, and cocktails to help the students celebrate being able to get through the past months.

The event also serves as one of the organization’s main income-generating thrust, with the intent of extending the proceeds to selected beneficiaries in our annual outreach projects. Last year, funds gathered from Toxic were allocated to providing aid for fellow countrymen who were caught in the Marawi strife.

Toxic: Blackout opens its doors at 8PM on the 7th of December 2017, at Grand Riviera Suites, Padre Faura St., Ermita, Manila. For tickets, contact Audrey Dimatatac (09178941718), Joel Lopez (09279318739), or Iza Reyes (09778359550), or Zoe Marron (09778140784). Limited tickets only!

This event is co-presented by Bacardi-Martini Philippines, Inc. Special thanks to Dairy Queen, The Shrimp Shack, Brooklyn’s Pizza, The Old Spaghetti House, and Adobo Connection, and to our official media partners: WhenInManila.com and ClickTheCity.com.

The UP Biological Sciences Society is the oldest academic not-for-profit university-wide biology-based organization of the University of the Philippines Manila. UP BSS aims to encourage students in the field of Biology to dedicate their efforts for the enrichment of the biological sciences, as well as to advance their academic welfare. The organization also aims to work towards the formation of unity and solidarity among the students of the biological sciences.
