Honeylet Reidy posted this on Facebook after seeing a post (below) where they reported that there was a tortured dog in Sikatuna Village QC. They were not feeding it and the place was known to be a market where people can buy dogs for personal consumption for a price of Php 350.00. The post reads the caption:

This is Jean who was reported on diff groups na tinotorture daw, di pinapakain at kinukulong lang ng owner from sikatuna village. Masasabi ko this is one of the most difficult cases na nahawakan ko. The location where she is ay lugar pala tlga ng bentahan ng katayan at bentahan ng mga asong pangkatay. So me, my husband and maam Sonia need to pretend na bibili kmi ng makakatay. We bought Jean at 350pesos. We brought her straight to vet clinic and gpod thing she is negative with parvo and distemper. She will be temporarily staying at deparo shelter. Any financial assistance for this dog will be deeply appreciated on her way to a better life.
