When In Manila during the new year, ALWAYS be careful when handling fireworks because it could end up in a very bad way to start the year. Here are some photos of fireworks accident victims. To those who just ate their new year dinner you might want to not look at these pictures.

Not sure what led to this but these are pictures of some serious scalding on the hands.. possibly from “pulbura” that got stuck on them.

 It’s never safe to let kids play with fireworks. These kids suffered serious burns on the face and eyes. Improper use could even lead to amputation of a limb or other body parts. It’s the new year guys, don’t let the fireworks end it.

 This 16 year old was apparently playing with firecrackers at home and somehow one of the firecrackers exploded on his face leaving it very distorted. Ouch!

I’m not really sure if this would be the top 1 ‘coz honestly. all the photos I’ve included here are PRETTY DISTURBING. If you’re not careful, fireworks could leave more than just a grazed wound or burnt skin. This is a photo of what used to be a person’s hand.

Fireworks and firecrackers can be pretty and amusing but always remember that they are also dangerous stuff, so it would be best to take caution when playing with them if they cannot be totally avoided.

When In Manila, have a HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR and be careful with those fire crackers!
