Join your favorites from Words Anonymous as they perform with one of theirs in this dream-come-true show! Sierra DeMulder (“Today Means Amen,” “The Unrequited Love Poem,” “Mrs. Dahmer”) steps on the Manila stage for the first time this coming October 9, 2016 at Power Mac Center Spotlight in Circuit Makati. The show starts at 8:00 PM until 11:00 PM.
Sierra DeMulder is an internationally touring performance poet, a two-time National Poetry Slam champion, and a four-time published author. In addition to performing, she is the curriculum director of the Slam Camp at Indiana University, an annual writing summer camp for high school students, and one of the founders of Button Poetry, the largest digital distributor of spoken word in the world.
Over the past eight years, Sierra DeMulder has performed in hundreds of venues across USA. Her poetry has entertained and educated countless classrooms and campuses, as well as Take Back the Night marches, non-profit benefits, women’s empowerment conferences, and mental/chemical health groups. Sierra has also presented for such acclaimed organizations as To Write Love on Her Arms on the intersection of art and healing and the importance of creating a safe, holistic space for young writers.

Performing with Sierra in this one-night show is Philippines’ very own Words Anonymous. Words Anonymous is a local spoken word group that aims to share their passion for spoken word poetry with the rest of the country since 2014. Following the boom of spoken word last year, they have regularly performed at bars and cafes around Metro Manila area and hosted their own shows and open mic nights.
