This Woman Was Fired After Her Body-Positive Photo Shoot Went Viral

A woman in Texas, USA was fired after photos from her body-positive photo shoot with her fiancé went viral.

Stephanie and her fiancé Arryn participated in an intimate photo shoot that is set in a lake in the woods. According to Buzzfeed, the couple’s beautiful shoot was done originally as part of an open call for boudoir shots by the photography company Wolf & Rose Photography.

Shortly after Wolf & Rose posted the photos of the shoot on their Facebook page, the pictures gained 30,000 shares, with many people sharing that they were inspired by the message of self-love and body positivity.

However, the photos didn’t sit well with Stephanie’s employer, Austin Bank Texas N.A., citing family-friendly values and saying that the company was concerned with how many people would see their photos and how it would reflect on the company.

How disheartening to see someone fired over a set of photos that sends a beautiful message about confidence.
