This Thread Lists The “Outstanding Filipino Contributions To Humanity” and It’s Sarcastically Funny

I’m sure that we are all well aware that there are a lot of things happening in the country at the moment–and that’s an understatement. With all the things happening around us, sometimes we just have to take a step back and re-evaluate our lives.

Twitter user @keiakamatsu takes it even further and re-evaluates the Philippine society as a whole–but not without poking a bit of fun, of course.

She started a Twitter thread she entitled: “Outstanding Filipino contributions to humanity: A thread”

Here, she shows the world how Filipinos have contributed to society in our own… unique way. Take a look at some of them:

While these are all sarcastic comments, it was all just for fun–and people enjoy it! All the memes and pop culture references made it all the more funnier.

Talking about what made her think of such a thread, @keiakamatsu says:

Just thought why not make a pseudo-intellectual, meta-humorous twist to Filipino memes, events and pop culture in general… Also taking a jab at what Philippine society really has achieved so far

She also said that it was to help people re-evaluate the Philippine society and at the same time celebrate Filipino memes and pop culture. Well, if you ask me, this is the best way to do it!

Sure, we may have a few laughable yet unique things about being Pinoy, but we just learn to love what’s truly ours.
