Pepe Herrera has established his leading man status in the hit film Sakaling Hindi Makarating and the musical Sa Wakas. But let’s not forget that Herrera is also a strong comedian with sharp wit and impeccable timing, which he showed in the musical Rak of Aegis and the TV show Ang Probinsyano. Now, he’s showing it off again in Yung Dilaw o Yung Puti?, a short film by Marius Talampas.

In the film, Pepe Herrera wants to rent a boat from Pepe Herrera. Pepe the adventurer has a few questions, which Pepe the boatowner responds with the question, “Yung dilaw o yung puti?” (“The yellow one or the white one?”).
It will make you feel one of two things: annoyed or entertained.
Herrera got his start in showbiz when he auditioned and was accepted in the cult favorite Rak of Aegis. Prior to that, he was a seaman who spent two years traveling. Perhaps that was his motivation in Yung Dilaw o Yung Puti?
The short film was uploaded on Facebook, and has had more than 600,000 views as of posting.
