After an 80-step walk down the stairs from the road, you’ll be welcomed by a spacious wooden bedroom with 5 queen-sized beds separated by white curtains. But if you’re just a couple on a romantic getaway, only one bed will be set up. It’s a great place if you want to hang out closely with friends and family. The bedroom also features a sink with a mirror in both corners of the room for easier access.
Right beside the beds are wide windows that usher in natural light. It instantly makes you feel like you’re in your own little world away from the bustling city.
Below the bedroom is the living room. You can take your pick among the various lounging areas available–from outdoor benches to couches right next to an indoor fireplace.

There’s also a dining table in the living room with a huge window right beside it, so you can get a visual feast while enjoying a hearty meal!
Beside the living room is a fully-equipped kitchen. It gets its own room because we all know how important it is to have a spacious kitchen. It includes an oven, a barbecue grill, a refrigerator, and another dining table.
The place has 2 separate bathrooms with hot and cold showers, with both also having views of the lake and the forest. Talk about a relaxing shower!
Go down the steps a bit lower and you’ll find a small deck where you can lounge in the available sun beds or lay out yoga mats for an early morning session.
If you’re worried about getting too disconnected, there’s Wi-Fi available. But believe me, with a cozy cottage like this, you won’t be needing it.
What I personally loved most about this vacation rental is how its cozy and homey ambiance was perfectly matched by the breathtaking scenery, making it the ultimate breather for anyone looking for a quick getaway. It’s a huge plus that the cottage can accommodate any type of traveler: from a huge barkada on an outing to a couple on a romantic trip.
Just be sure to prepare for the 80-step stairs you’ll be facing (so don’t overpack!). But don’t worry, it’s definitely worth it.
