This New Ferry Service Takes You From Manila to Bataan in Just 50 Minutes

Depending on whether you’re riding by private car or by bus, a trip to Bataan can take you anywhere from two and a half hours to almost four hours, making the province one of the relatively closer weekend destinations to Manila. This should make your trips even easier, though: the local government of Bataan has announced the commencement of a new ferry service from the Mall of Asia (MOA) complex that will shuttle passengers to Bataan in just 50 minutes!

The new Fast Ferry boat service is operated by 1Bataan Integrated Transport System, which will transport riders from the Esplanade Seaside Terminal in Pasay City to Port Capinpin in Orion, Bataan via the Manila Bay. From the Orion port, passengers may also avail of the free shuttle service that has dropoff points along the Roman Superhighway, from the town of Dinalupihan in the north to the Authority of the Freeport Area (AFAB) Mariveles in the south.

The ferry service offers a promo fare of P450 for a one-way ride until February 28.

So if you’ve been planning to visit the famed Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, here’s your chance! You can also check out other sights and activities in Bataan, such as the Mariveles Five Fingers, among other spots to be explored.
