A man in Tokyo might just be the most patient pet owner that we know of.
Reports say that this elderly man has been seen walking his pet, an African spurred tortoise, in many streets of Japan including Tsukishima and Ginza. The African spurred tortoise is a native of the Sahara desert but this one seems to be quite comfortable in Japan.
The Japanese man walks his pet just like any pet owner would walk their dog except that he doesn’t need a leash. However, he probably won’t be able to play fetch with his pet.
Sometimes, he even dresses his pet in different colorful clothes.
