Haemul Panjeon (Seafood Pancake)
Perfect as appetizer, this seafood pancake’s texture is undoubtedly balanced given its crispy crust and fluffy body. Each bite is flavorful, packed with generous amount of vegetables and seafood like squid and shrimp.
You better eat this while it’s hot because its taste is amplified when it’s still steaming!
Samgyupsal (Marinated – Fruity flavor) – MUST TRY
Of course, Korean Restaurants aren’t complete without these babies. Samgyupsal is the OG of Korean meat and, with the Signature BBQ Combo Set 3, you have a choice to get a 200g of Fresh Samgyupsal or Marinated Samgyupsal.
We chose the Marinated Pork Belly and went with the Fruity flavor (the other flavor is Soy Garlic). We didn’t regret our choice because the meat is seasoned just right and the natural fruit flavor blends well with the umami of the meat.
Woo Samgyup (USDA Choice Beef Belly)
Woo Samgyup is the beef variant of Sibyullee. This order is meatier, juicier, and better that will surely fill your stomach. You also have a choice to order a fresh beef belly or a marinated one.
This thick meat and lettuce are match-made in heaven; just dip them in Sesame Oil, add your preferred sides, and enjoy to your heart’s content. The Woo Samgyup is heavy to the stomach and that makes it so worth it!
Volcanic Kimchi Fried Rice – MUST TRY (PERSONAL FAVORITE)
The taste of this Sibyullee Special is as good as the name sounds. You will be provided with a Kimchi Fried Rice (with a hole in the middle) submerged in 3 different kinds of cheese—mozzarella, parmesan, and cheddar. The server will heat the pan in front of you and you will see it boil eventually. After a certain temperature, the cheese will rise to the middle of the rice, making it look like a volcanic eruption—talk about creativity!
After that, the cook will then mix the cheese and rice and it will be ready to serve. The rice will look sticky and gooey because of the cheese, and it will be the best thing you will lay your eyes on. The creaminess of the cheese mashes with the spiciness of Kimchi and we absolutely loved it. Just trust us—this will be worth your visit.
Galbi Cheese BBQ (BBQ Ribs Cheese) – MUST TRY
Similar to the Volcanic Kimchi Fried Rice, the Galbi Cheese BBQ will be heated in front of you. You will see the meat being thoroughly cooked, vegetables being heated, and the cheese (same combination as the Volcanic Kimchi Fried Rice) melting to a mozzarella-like effect.
Once it’s ready, get a piece of the rib, dip in the oh-so-heavenly cheese, take a Boomerang of the cheese to make your IG followers drool (lol), and, of course, enjoy the explosion of flavors in your mouth. If you think you can only watch this kind of food on the internet, you can experience this glorious food here at Sibyullee.
In this set, the Tornado Potato (pictured above) is also included along with four miso soup and unlimited side dishes. If you ordered all those food separately, you’ll get a price of PHP 3,000.00++. However, if you ordered the set with your friends, it’ll be only PHP 2,400.00++– you can save up to PHP 600.00!
To cap it all off, we had an additional Bungeoppang (Goldfish Bread) with ice cream. Just when you thought that the Volcanic Kimchi Fried Rice or the Galbi Cheese BBQ are Sibyullee’s only specialty, they also make their own fish bread! As of now, there’s no restaurant that serves their own Bungeoppang, so Sibyullee could be your go-to spot if you crave this dessert.
PS: You can order this outside Sibyullee since they have a stall for this! No need to order in the restaurant!
