These Alternate Covers of “Harry Potter” Movies are Creepy Yet Cool

The Harry Potter books and its film adaptations were targeted towards young adults, but there were plenty of scenes that gave us chills. The dementors in Azkaban, Voldemort’s group of friends, and the final battle were considerably darker compared to the first few books, which inspired artist Dylan Pierpont to reimagine the films in a series of creepy posters called #ScaryPotter.

The title is right, the new posters take things up a notch from the family-friendly versions we’re familiar with. Check it out below:

The Harry Potter series is a line of novels that followed a young boy of the same name, who battles Lord Voldemort, an evil wizard who wants to become immortal and take control of the wizarding and Muggle (non-magic) world. It spawned a series of successful films, offshoots, and themed attractions in theme parks, becoming one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time.
