The World We Live Without: New Stage Musical at DLS-CSB

The World We Live Without: New Stage Musical at De La Salle College of Saint Benilde

Imagine a society where the LGBTQA+ are accepted and the heterosexuals are oppressed. This is the theme the epic new stage musical “The World We Live Without” revolves around. Bringing in director/lyricist Kurvine Chua and writer Kamille Casida, with original music from Kurvine and the Rebellion, the audience should expect to be treated to a unique environment that hopes to open even jaded eyes to the injustices of reality. Add to this an edgy, 1980s inspired aesthetic, and viewers are in for one heck of a throwback, revolutionary experience.

Produced by students of the Arts Management program of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, under the guidance of Eric dela Cruz, the show opens on March 17, 2016 (Thursday), with runs until March 19 (Saturday). There will be two shows per day, one at 1:00 p.m. and another at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at 150 Php each and can be purchased by visiting our booth located on the 9th floor and 12th of the School of Design and Arts campus.

Follow our protagonist Elle as she continues her parents’ battle for equality. Starring Isabella Manikan, Jearon Sepacio, Patricia Ong, Lucas Buencamino, Shania Sumergido, Ricardo Torres, Brian Bobadilla, Hannah Rodrigo, and Leif Malvas, this is a spectacle you would definitely not want to miss.
