One of the most famous musicals out there is Les Miserables, which is based on the novel written by Victor Hugo. Last year, we got to see the musical live when it toured here, but this video of the touring cast rehearsing the songs “On My Own,” “Bring Him Home,” and “One Day More” will send chills down your spine and make you wish they will come back!

Les Miserables is the second longest-running musical in the world and has been seen by over 70 million people in 44 countries and in 22 languages, with 125 awards to boot. Last year, the Philippines saw the musical live since Repertory Philippines staged a local production in 1993. The run was made more special since Rachelle Ann Go essayed the role of Fantine, a factory worker who turns to prostitution after losing her job so she can support her daughter Cosette.
It has also been adapted into an award-winning film starring Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Helena Bonham Carter, and Sacha Baron Cohen.
