About Rem Zamora:
Rem Zamora is a multi-awarded Philippine photojournalist currently working as a features and documentary photographer for ABS-CBN News. He also teaches photography at the De La Salle University.
Originally trained as an accountant, Rem pursued the calling of photojournalism by joining the Manila Times as a photo correspondent in 2003 and the Philippine Daily Inquirer as a staff photographer from 2004 to 2011. His coverage of major national beats and issues won for him the Gold Prize at the first Asia Press Photo Awards in 2006, as well as top citations in the 2008 Society of Publishers in Asia Awards, 2007 IFR Asia Media Awards, 2006 Catholic Mass Media Awards, 2006 and the 2005 Louie R. Prieto Awards. In 2008, he completed further studies at the Konrad Adenauer Asian Center for Journalism.
Rem believes that everyone has a story to tell and he hopes to capture these stories through his lens.
