Those who grew up in the 90’s would be familiar with RL Stine. He was the author of the Fear Street and Goosebumps series, which became the stuff of nightmares for pre-teens and teenagers alike. In fact, it was RL Stine’s Goosebumps series that made me turn to books. In fact, he is called the “Stephen King of children’s literature.” Naturally, when I became of age, I turned to Stephen King.
The last of his original Goosebumps series was published in 1997. He published spinoffs after, but it didn’t seem to go so well. You may think it’s because he lost the “touch,” but a series of tweets for this year’s Halloween proves that he still knows how to scare people. The story is called What’s In My Sandwich?
