The New JaDine Movie has all sorts of Indie feels and We Can’t Wait

From box-office director Antoinette Jadaone of “That Thing Called Tadhana” (the hugot film that started it all) comes Viva Films’ latest offering, headlined by James Reid and Nadine Lustre. Entitled Never Not Love You, the story revolves around the young and reckless love between Gio and Joanne, who are desperately trying to stay together amidst circumstance and distance. Partly shot in London, the teasers and movie trailer have so far been gritty, with neon-lighted aesthetics, which appears to reflect Reid’s wild, tattooed character taking the probinsyana Lustre through the whirlwind motorcycle ride of their lives. For Gio, “love changes him;” for Joanne, “life changes love.” As real life unfolds and takes its toll, will their personal dreams drive them apart, or is this messy love enough to survive it all?

Fresh from the success of their sold out “JaDine Revolution” concert in Araneta Coliseum last month, this is Reid and Lustre’s first movie in 2 years, after focusing on a couple of television series (both of which Jadaone directed) and releasing and producing their own songs. The movie has been graded A by the Cinema Evaluation board and rated PG by the MTRCB. It will be released on March 31, Saturday.
