THE MAGIC LIVES ON: 2KK Goes to EK 2016

Dubbed as the happiest place in the Philippines, Enchanted Kingdom (EK) is considered by many as the Philippines’ local Disneyland – where everyday magic happens.

For over 20 years, the local theme park in Laguna has been the weekend getaway of choice for Filipino families with kids and even for those who are young at heart. Enchanted Kingdom has enchanted their way in to our hearts with their wide array of rides, creating lasting memories and camaraderie for keeps. EK’s “ the magic lives forever!” tagline holds true. Now, it is time to share this magic!

On June 4, 2016, EK in partnership with 2KK (Tulong sa Kapwa Kapatid Foundation) is organizing to bring the magic to 200 little hearts from Payatas, Escopa and Sampaloc. This will be the second year of “2KK Goes to EK” where the foundation has brought children from underprivileged communities to experience a fun-filled day with rides and activities – a first and maybe the only chance these children will ever get. As Joycell (2KK Scholar) recalls, “it was one of the best days of my life, I will never ever forget it.”

2KK Goes to EK is Tulong sa Kapwa Kapatid Foundation’s (2KK) annual fundraising campaign to help eradicate poverty through education. The funds raised from the event will not only provide awareness to the cause, provide children the best day but will also help fund sustainable projects such as scholarships for middle school to college and values formation education for these children.
