So the only thing better than finding a new place to chill, is – finding a new place to chill that’s filled with Bunnies! Oh, and I’m not talking about the furry types, these bunnies were clean shaven and smooth (I can tell, I tested them out…. *wink*) We’re talking about the Playboy Bunnies baby!
My friends at Playboy Magazine Philippines invited me over for their January / February 2010 launch party. It was their tribute to Philippine Cinema issue. On the cover is a famous Filipino film director, Pepe Gallaga, with one of the sexy Playmates.
For this event, we were invited to a new chill spot in the Quezon City / Tomas Morato area aptly called “The Lounge.” It’s a comfy little place that has plush interiors and very nice music.
The Lounge was very cozy and comfortable with the slick white leather seats. Do note that it is a very small place that doesn’t have a dance floor. It’s supposedly an exclusive VIP lounge where you have to be on the guest list before you’re granted entrance. Playboy on the other hand is starting to get better. I have to admit, I’m not the biggest fan of some of the girls they have on their pages. But it seemed that there were some positive additions to their Playmate line up that night. I don’t know, maybe some of the girls were taken ‘coz of their engaging personalities…..??? Lol – NOT. Either way, the writing in the magazine is getting better and I am slowly looking forward to see how they can bring this magazine to the same level of success as the international editions.
On the other hand, you do have to pickup this issue to see the lineup of all the past Playmate models from the Philippines. Also, I heard that there’s some good articles in there… But that’s just what I heard, I have yet to confirm that there is indeed any literature in Playboy magazines… =P
