With the upsurge of music festivals both in and out of the country, it’s getting harder and harder to find ones worthy of your time and money. The UP Junior Marketing Association’s La Isla Festival, however, is definitely one to watch out for. Happening on August 6, 2016 at the Aseana City Open Grounds, La Isla Festival won’t just bring you beats from the best, it also lets you experience a great time for a good cause.

Following the last iteration of ADHOC, the best and biggest college party in the Metro, the members of UP JMA’s Ad Hoc Team decided that it was time to bring something fresh to the table– a new legacy for the new generation. Thus, the La Isla Festival was introduced: an evolution of the classic college party into the next big thing, with the quality of the iconic ADHOC  events that fans from all over the Metro know and love.

Derived from our country’s previous name “Las Islas Filipinas, the La Isla Festival is more than  just your usual music festival; it’s a modern take on the Filipino fiesta. With elements from numerous celebrations all over the country, partygoers both young and old are sure to discover new ways to fall in love with the Filipino culture.

Of course, any music festival wouldn’t be complete without the music, and La Isla Festival features the best homegrown acts – with Nix Damn P, Jason Dewey, CRWN + Jess Connelly, Curtismith, Knoxville and more bringing you music that will definitely get you in the mood to celebrate. If that isn’t enough to convince you, remember that you’re definitely partying with a cause; proceeds from La Isla Festival will go to UP JMA’s beneficiaries, Kids Integrated Development through Schooling (KIDS) and the UP JMA Scholarship Fund.
