In the trailer, we are introduced to teenagers Harry and June, who run away from their repressive homes to start a new life. Along the way, they realize that June can shape-shift. They meet a professor who promises that there are others like her and that he can heal her. However, everything is not what it seems and there is danger lurking. The couple soon has to make a choice: go with their dream of freedom or face the risk of June’s power.
The show stars Sorcha Groundsell as June, Percelle Ascott as Harry, and Guy Pearce as Halvorson.
The Innocents will be available on Netflix on August 24.
