Now that Rachel Peters is about to fly for the 2017 Miss Universe competition, leave it to someone who’s been through it all and actually called herself Miss Universe in the end to give some worthy advice: Pia Wurtzbach!
The 2015 Miss Universe titleholder shared one piece of important advice to Rachel, and that is to “keep focus”.
Pia appeared at a launch event, and stressed that it was important for Rachel to remain focused on her mission.
The beauty queen said:
“Do not get distracted, especially now that the pageant is pretty near. Many people will give you advice, you will be confused, that’s true. But just focus on yourself.”
Pia also gave one more piece of advice, and that is to truly enjoy their experience at the pageant, saying that “you can only do Miss Universe once.”
“You can’t get back the experience you had while you’re in Vegas. It’s not like Binibining Pilipinas, where you can join again. You can only do Miss Universe once, so take as many pictures as you can, enjoy, and have fun.”
