The First Trailer for the “Queer Eye” Reboot is Here!

Queer Eye

One of the most entertaining LGBT-themed shows during the noughties was Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (later changed to simply Queer Eye), where five fabulous and cultured gay guys, called the Fab Five, trained straight men how to improve their style, grooming, lifestyle, and food. It ran from 2003 to 2007 and even won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program. The show will be returning to Netflix with a new cast, and the first trailer is here!

Watch it below:

Replacing Carson Kressley, Ted Allen, Jai Rodriguez, Kyan Douglas, and Thom Filicia are design guru Bobby Berk, culture vulture Karamo Brown, food and wine expert Antoni Porowski, grooming genius Jonathan Van Ness, and style maven Tan France.

There’s talk that the original Fab Five will play a role in the reboot but nothing has been confirmed.

Instead of focusing on New York like in the past, the Netflix reboot will be set in Atlanta and will even touch on social issues like LGBT rights.

The new Queer Eye will have eight episodes and will premiere on the streaming platform in February 2018.
