We’re finally going to be able to watch the new Baywatch on the silver screen when it finally hits Philippine theaters on May 31st, but before that, Paramount has blessed us with the film’s final official trailer.
2017’s Baywatch is a remake of the classic TV series starring David Hasselhoff, and follows the lives of a team of lifeguards and their daily life on the job. The hit TV series ran for a whopping 12 years, from 1989 to 2001.
And now, Baywatch has come alive again, but this time on the big screen. The film’s plot reads: “Devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchanan butts heads with a brash new recruit. Together, they uncover a local criminal plot that threatens the future of the Bay.” The film’s lead role, Mitch Buchanan, is played by Dwayne Johnson, while the “brash new recruit” is played by Zac Efron.
